Teddy Bears Picnic

A Teddy Bears Picnic is a wonderful fun activity for children.
The idea is that you host a picnic for teddy bears and dolls.

You can start by making invitations for all the guests, you will need some paper and some pencils or crayons.
The children make an invitation for each teddy bear or doll guest.

The children then arrange the picnic area, spreading out the rug and setting out the cups and plates.
For food we just put out a few jellies out on the plates, real food and drinks can get a bit messy !

The picnic begins with a parade of all the Teddy Bears and Dolls.

All the Teddies and Dolls are put sitting at their place and the picnic begins !

You can also add in some other activities such as a First Aid post for teddies and dolls, the children will love using bandages, plasters etc.

A nice way to end the picnic is to sing some Teddy Bear Picnic Songs.
